The School of Nursing provides graduate-level, career-focused nursing education that equips nurses to be population health authorities in acute care settings.
Students gain a breadth of sophisticated healthcare knowledge, clinical reasoning abilities, and technical proficiency in all of their cutting-edge programs, preparing them to provide high-quality population-oriented healthcare from preventative care through end-of-life care.
In order to gain in-depth clinical specialty knowledge or research expertise in a variety of specialty areas like aging, mental health, community engagement and health disparities, as well as symptom and data science, graduate and doctoral students in practice and research work closely with specific faculty members.
The Accelerated BSN Program at University of Delaware is for individuals who have obtained a baccalaureate degree, in another field, and wish to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
This is a full-time, 17-month, on-campus nursing curriculum.
Students are admitted once a year with students starting each winter session.
