Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.
One of the oldest and most esteemed programs of its kind in the country is the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Professional Program at Texas A&M VMBS.
The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital serves as the last year’s clinical rotation site for the DVM Professional Program’s four-year curriculum, which includes three years of classroom and laboratory teaching (VMTH).
At Texas A&M University, there are two programs that give students the chance to acquire both a DVM and another graduate degree. They are;
DVM/MS (VPHE)
This combination program leads to the concurrent completion of the Master of Science in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology (MS VPHE) and the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees in four years.
DBM/MBA
Students enrolled in this combination program complete the MBA program during a 12-month period either before, or in between years one and two of the veterinary curriculum.

Texas Tech University (TTU)- School of Veterinary Medicine
The TTU School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) was produced and added to the institution’s official program inventory in September 2018.
The DVM program at Texas Tech University’s School of Veterinary Medicine is an outcome- and competency-based, integrated, core-elective program that accommodates a variety of learning preferences and incorporates community-based learning into the teaching of veterinary medicine.
Students will spend their first three years at Mariposa Station and on the Amarillo Campus acquiring the skills, knowledge, and competencies they need to succeed in their clinical year.
A community-based Clinical Learning Network (CLN) with a focus on Texas hosts the fourth-year clinical experience.
To prepare them for the practice of veterinary medicine after graduation, students will receive a very practical education with a strong emphasis on primary veterinary care.
