With the development of innovative treatments and the enhancement of the effects of currently available pharmaceuticals, they are pioneers in the application of pharmaceutical sciences to personalized medicine and contributing to the transformation of patient care.
The PharmD program produces skilled professional pharmacists with the pharmacotherapeutic knowledge, professional abilities and expertise, and social awareness to deliver the highest standards in pharmacy care, patient-specific drug therapy, information dissemination about drug therapy, and the ability to teach others about how drug therapy improves health care outcomes.
The American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) has granted full accreditation to the College of Pharmacy in accordance with the regulations in force as of July 1, 2007.

The Faculty of Pharmacy’s four academic departments—Medicinal Chemistry, Molecular Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Pharmacotherapy—have worked together to create the PharmD program.
For students that finish in the top ten of their application pool following interviews, they now provide a Dean’s Top-Ten Scholarship.
The top 10 out-of-state applicants will be eligible for a new grant that will allow them to pay the difference between nonresident and resident tuition and fees for the first year of the PharmD program.
