Administratively, the College is organized with a dean, two associate dean for academic affairs; one for the Pharm.D. program and one for the division of health sciences, an associate dean for research, an assistant dean for student services, an assistant dean for experiential training, and three faculty chairs.

Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy
The Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy opened its doors to students in 2006 to meet a critical need in the South Texas community.
Today, 42 percent of graduates from their fully-accredited program have returned to South Texas to help underserved populations as Aggie pharmacists.
In all they do, they dedicate the full measure of their resources and abilities to advancing the knowledge and technologies of their profession.
They also strive to cultivate a culture of excellence in research, practice and patient care in each professional student enrolled in our pharmacy program.

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center – School of Pharmacy
When the Texas Legislature established Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC-SOP) in 1993, it created the first publicly supported pharmacy program in the United States in nearly five decades.
State legislators also mandated that the SOP be located in Amarillo.
The first classes began in August 1996 and the school’s steady growth since that time has helped the state of Texas address its pharmacist shortage: more than 90 percent of students who have graduated from TTUHSC-SOP have remained in the Lone Star state.
Since its inception, TTUHSC-SOP has embraced new classroom technologies to advance its curriculum and prepare students for the ever-increasing opportunities that exist in pharmacy today.
It was the first program in the nation to require all of its students to have laptop computers and to deliver materials and email services in support of coursework.
The SOP also requires its students to complete more clinical training hours that any other pharmacy program in the country.
In November 2009, the SOP expanded the Amarillo campus by opening its Pharmacy Academic Center.
SOP researchers collaborate with TTUHSC School of Medicine investigators whose research is focused upon cancer biology and therapeutic drug delivery.

The University of Texas at Austin – College of Pharmacy
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is one of the premier institutions of pharmaceutical education and research in the country.
Pharmacists have significant responsibility for managing drug therapy, counseling on medication use, and monitoring drug therapy outcomes.
Their Doctor of Pharmacy program prepares future practitioners to meet these challenges as lifelong learners and leaders in drug therapy management.
They offer graduate programs leading to research-focused M.S. or Ph.D. degrees in pharmacy including the inter-institutional Ph.D. program in translational research.

The Feik School of Pharmacy was founded in 2004 in recognition of the need to graduate a new generation of highly trained culturally-competent, caring pharmacists and patient advocates to serve communities across Texas and beyond, with a special emphasis on underserved populations.
It is the only faith-based School of Pharmacy in Texas.
