The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (A-BSN) is a fast-paced program that prepares students for a career in nursing.
Designed for those who already hold a bachelor’s degree (in any field), graduates of this 15-month program can take the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) required for licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
It typically takes just four (4) consecutive semesters to complete the courses required for licensure.
In this time, students learn to assess, restore, maintain, promote, and evaluate the health of individuals, families, groups, communities and populations.
The A-BSN provides specific clinical education to prepare students for practice in a variety of health-related settings with an emphasis on hands-on experience.

The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a fast-paced, 24-month additional bachelor’s degree program designed for those who hold a degree outside of nursing and have not completed any LVN or RN coursework.
This program includes approximately 74 semester units of study in both didactic and clinical coursework.
Completion of this program enables you to sit for the NCLEX examination for RN licensure
This program is accredited with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

The Accelerated Second Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASBSN) program, offered at their Stockton Campus, is designed for people who hold a baccalaureate degree in a field other than nursing and are aspiring to become registered nurses. Completion time 17 months.
Financial Aid is available for this program to qualified applicants in the form of student loans.
The program is held at the Stockton Campus. Students who are admitted to the ASBSN Program will start and complete their nursing degree at the Stanislaus State Stockton Campus.

Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program enables students to earn their BSN degree in as few as three years of year-round study instead of the typical four years with summers off, allowing students to enter the workforce sooner than their peers at other higher education institutions.

The Accelerated Baccalaureate Nursing (AccBSN) Program is the same curriculum design as the Baccalaureate Nursing Program (BSN), follows the stated philosophy, and students meet the terminal objectives as delineated for the Baccalaureate program.
Also, the program is completed within a one year, three consecutive semester time frame and is a rigorous program of study.
At the completion of the final semester, graduates are eligible to take the Registered Nurse licensure examination and to qualify for the California Public Health Nursing Certificate.
The AccBSN program is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.

Students entering the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Westmont College will learn from experienced, competent registered nursing professors chosen for their dedication to the ministry of health and wellness through the theory of compassionate care.
The ABSN program is a 16-month accelerated prelicensure baccalaureate nursing program housed at Westmont Downtown.
Their facility is the beautifully renovated first and second floors of the existing Westmont Downtown building one block from State Street.
Their clinical practicums will be completed mainly at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara with a few other ambulatory settings in and around Santa Barbara County.
