- January Start, Hybrid Option: The hybrid option, which begins in January, combines onsite learning in labs and through various clinical experiences, with a mix of online and on-campus classes taught on evenings and weekends (Thursday – Sunday). The program is ideal for adult learners with limited availability during weekdays.
- August Start, On-Campus Program: The on-campus program, which begins in August, is delivered on their North Haven Campus with a more traditional academic schedule and course delivery, and clinical experiences.

The ACE program is an accelerated BSN program for individuals already holding a BS/BA in any field from an accredited college or university who wish to enter the nursing profession.
The intensive program allows qualified individuals to complete the nursing coursework in 12 consecutive months.

University of Connecticut
Registered nursing is among the top occupations for job growth through 2026, and UConn’s one-year accelerated Certificate Entry into Nursing (CEIN) program will take you from bachelor’s to RN in just three semesters.
The CEIN/BS program is designed for those with a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field.
Upon the successful completion of the one-year CEIN/BS program, the student is awarded a bachelor’s degree in nursing and is eligible to take the NCLEX (the RN license exam).

USJ’s Accelerated Second Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASD) offers students with baccalaureate degrees in other disciplines the opportunity to gain a B.S. with a concentration in Nursing.
Students who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree in another discipline may apply for admission to the Accelerated Second Degree in Nursing.
Students in the ASD program are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree upon completion of Nursing academic requirements.
Graduates of the ASD program will then be eligible to take the National Council licensing examination for licensure as a Registered Nurse (NCLEX).
