The North Carolina A&T State University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) Entry Option is intended for second-degree students who are high achievers who want to pursue a career as a qualified registered nurse.
Their curriculum for the ABSN Entry Option is presented in blocks over a 12-month period (January to December).

With the help of their Nursing BSN Accelerated Option, individuals with four-year degrees can complete their BSN in nursing in 14–15 months.
The student will acquire skills for professional nursing practice throughout the program, including critical thinking, decision-making, communication, leadership, and high-tech techniques to address the shifting demands of today’s healthcare settings.
Prior to the start of school, their program requires that all accepted students have finished the necessary prerequisite courses.
Each prerequisite course for nursing must have been passed with a “C” or better. Any authorized college, university, or community college offers these courses for enrollment.
